It has been one hell of a 2020. Strength Fest Arizona is still a go, but with some modifications. Here is what we are planning on. The USPA Powerlifting and US Strongman Events are moving forward on October 24th. The USAW Olympic Weightlifting Meet has been cancelled. We have 70 athletes competing at StrengthFest this year and we would have had more if we didn’t need to limit capacity. The Powerlifting Meet will be held indoors and spectators at this time will not be allowed inside due to local mandates limiting capacity. We have been seeking more clarity around this and hoping to be able to allow limited spectators indoors, but we can’t make any promises on this.
The Strongman Competition will be held outdoors, and we will be allowing a limited amount spectators for this event. We will have more information on ticket sales soon. We will also have some of some of our vendors/sponors and a food truck on site for a smaller expo event. We will be acting responsibly to make sure our athletes and all attendees are safe and abide by all state mandates set up for the COVID19.
We also plan on streaming both events live. We will be announcing more information closer to the event. Stay tuned! If you have any questions feel free to email us!
